Magen Avraham

Name of a book written by Rabbi Abraham Abele Gombiner who lived in Poland during the 17th century. His book was a commentary on the shulḥan Aruk. This book influenced the practice of German and Polish Jews and their descendants until today.His work has been quoted often by later rabbis in their decisions regarding halakhic practice.
