Nahshon ben Amminadav

נַחְשׁוֹן – Nashon, son of Amminadav and brother-in-law to Aharon. Appointed by Moshe to lead the Tribe of Yehudah. He is known for being the first of the Children of Israel fleeing Egypt to jump into the Red Sea. For his bravery and in accordance with his honored status, he was the first to bring an offering to the Mishkan. His illustrious descendants include King David and the tribes of both Yehudah and and Israel.
