Nehemiah

נְחֶמְיָה – Nehemiah. Governor of Judea under Persian rule during the reign of Ataxerxes I. The Book of Nehemiah is considered a reasonably historically accurate document written as a first-person account, and Nehemiah himself is purported to have completed Ezra the Scribe’s Book of Chronicles. In Tanakh, the Book of Nehemiah follows after or is often combined with Sefer Ezra.
