Shabbat

שַׁבָּת – The Sabbath, the divinely ordained day of rest on the seventh day of the week (Friday evening to Saturday evening) on which we cease work and honor God through rest. The sanctification of the seventh day is first written in Bereshit 2:1-3 and the command to do no work on Shabbat is written in Shemot 16:26 and 20:8-11.
