Targum

תרגום – commentaries of the Scriptures into Aramaic, as spoken aloud by a rabbi. The Targumim exist in a number of named “translations”, most generally referring to the Targum Yonatan, named for Yonatan ben Uzziel the student of Hillel the Elder, and focusing on the Nevi’im; and Targum Onkelos, named for the 1st century CE Roman convert to Judaism, and which focuses on Written Torah.
